Pipeline fittings are an important part of the pipeline system and are used to connect different pipes, fittings and equipment. According to different connection methods, pipeline fittings can be divided into welding joints, threaded joints, flange joints, clamp joints and other types.
1 . Welded joint is a joint that connects two pipes or fittings together by fusion. Common welded joints include butt welding, fillet welding, ring welding, etc. Butt welding is to align the ends of two pipes and then weld them, and is suitable for connecting pipes of the same diameter. Angle welding is to connect the ends of two pipes or pipe fittings together at an angle of 90 degrees, and is suitable for connections at bends. Ring welding is to join the ends of two pipes or fittings together in the shape of a ring, and is suitable for branching of pipes.
2 . Threaded Joint A threaded joint is a joint that connects two pipes or fittings together by means of a threaded connection. Common threaded joints include female and male threaded joints. A female threaded fitting is a connection between a pipe with a female thread and a pipe with a male thread, and is used for small diameter pipes. Male threaded couplings are used to connect a male threaded fitting to a female threaded fitting and are used for large diameter piping.
